Maryland Property Services is ranked among the five oldest companies in the property management sector in Greece. As evidenced by the document from the Athens Chamber of Commerce, found in the “Certifications” section of our website, the company was established as a sole proprietorship on January 18, 2012.
This differentiates us from the competition, which expanded massively after late 2015 when Government Gazette 94A/2015 was issued, liberalizing short-term property rentals. This law allowed property rentals without the need for a special license from the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT), expanding activity in the sector. Before this, short-term rentals were limited to three months in duration.
Since 2018, many companies have entered the sector. However, Maryland Property Services, with its long-standing experience and pioneering role, remains a reference point for reliable and professional property management.
